Normal Correction or Market Crash

The biggest driver of last Friday’s sell-off was the strong jobs report, which suggested to investors that they’ll have to contend with greater rates of inflation going forward. My view: We had gone so long without volatility that even a little bit of fear led to some nervous selling. We know that the fundamentals continue to point to an economy that will remain in expansion mode. Such selloffs create better opportunities for long-term investors, even if they cause heart burn for day-to-day traders.
